At True North Furs, we take pride in our carefully selected real fur
product line. Our fur blankets & throws, pillows, rugs and home accents are handcrafted here in the USA, by our own highly skilled and talented artisans. Many of the best fur pelts in the world come from Alaska, Canada, the Northern United States. Of the thousands of fur pelts, True North Furs grades only the top 10% that are used in our line of products. We have the largest inventory of fur blankets, fur throws, and fur pillows in the United States of America.

With the guidance of our Master Furrier, True North Furs' custom- made products are crafted using natural pelts from a wide range of animals including beaver, coyote, fox, sable, otter, wolf and more! True North Furs provides our customers with the finest fur products available.
True North Furs
It is our mission to promote the proper management and wise use of fur-bearing animals. Fur is a clean, biodegradable, non-polluting form of clothing. We use furs that come from wild populations managed by state wildlife agencies. We believe too many fur-bearing animals are killed only to rot because they are regarded as pests that need to be controlled as opposed to using every part of the animals for ethical and beneficial purposes.
The International Fur Trade Federation (IFTF) has a close working relationship with leading conservation organizations including the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The IFTF has been a voting member in the World Conservation Union (IUCN) since 1985. This ensures that any commercial use of a fur species is sustainable.

At True North Furs, we buy thousands of pelts directly from hunters and trappers in Alaska, northern Canada, and Scandinavia. There is no middleman. We personally hand-select the very best quality skins (the top 10%) for use in our own authentic fur blankets, fur pillows and fur throws. Each pelt is carefully matched together for color, texture, softness, and density for consistent and unparalleled quality and beauty.
Our Master Furrier has personally visited each locale where our furs are sourced and has maintained relationships with the trappers and hunters throughout the years to ensure luxurious, best quality, and extremely durable fur blankets, throws and pillows. Once the pelts are received back from our trusted tannery, True North Furs ensures the quality of production and manufacturing every step of the way. Nothing leaves our workshop without our Master Furrier personally inspecting each fur blanket, fur pillow and fur throw for the best workmanship and fur consistency.

How do we compare to other furriers?
Many online e-commerce retailers of fur products claim to use only the finest quality
fur pelts in their fur products. Yet oftentimes those retailers never actually lay eyes or hands on their products before they are drop shipped from a third-party operation in another city or country. There is simply no way to ensure quality control. At True North Furs, our furs are purchased by us, inspected by us, and manufactured by us entirely in the USA with pride and craftsmanship.
There is not a single item that has not been diligently inspected by our Master Furrier.

How do we keep our prices competitive?
Every fur retailer claims he or she is a Master Furrier with the finest fur products for sale at the most competitive prices. However, any retailer who buys from a wholesaler is not a true Furrier. Many do not even know where their fur comes from. If you see fur blankets for sale through a retailer at a similar price as our blankets, the quality isn't going to be the same. You deserve to know where and how your fur is sourced. By buying direct from hunters and trappers and doing the work ourselves, we know the quality of our fur products. True North Furs are able to
offer a better-quality product at lower prices than other retailer furriers.
